Dear Elsie.
Today is March 3rd, "ひな祭りDoll Festival" here, a day to celebrate the healthy growth of girls, and we celebrate by decorating glittering dolls and eating chirashi-zushi and clam soup.
I was on my way home from work today when I met a young waitress who had a stand outside her shop selling chirashi-zushi.They seemed to sell chirashi-zushi all day.It was late for dinner so the chirashi sushi was half off.So I bought it too and decided to have a seasonal event.I was actually thinking of roasting a bird and eating it.May the girls fulfill their quota for the day and go home and celebrate their own ひな祭り soon.
You've never had sushi. So you are allergic to shrimp.I think it is a wise idea to avoid eating sushi. The chirashi sushi I bought today also has boiled shrimp on it.I once got sick to my stomach after eating a lot of raw oysters, and since then I've decided to eat only a few grilled oysters.
I was once a girl myself. So from now on I would like to have a ひな祭り by myself. No shellfish soup, though.I'm hungry!Bon appétit!
